Mariah Pitre

Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today!

Psalm 95:6-7

I first heard about We Will Go Ministries in 2014 while attending Harvest School in Pemba, Mozambique. It was months after returning from Pemba, before I ever visited Jackson, Mississippi. The Lord was leading me to staff Iris Global’s first youth school, hosted at We Will Go! It wasn’t long before the Lord spoke to me about moving to be a missionary at We Will Go Ministries.

I moved to Jackson, Mississippi late 2015 and immediately started living the kind of life that I’ve always desired…a life where I’m being shaped and molded daily, a life that challenges me to lean into Jesus. During my first year at We Will Go, I learned the importance of walking with Jesus and moving at the sound of His voice. He began to teach me what it actually looks like to give my life to Him.

Since serving in Jackson, the Lord has begun to show me glimpses of His plan for the city! He’s also shown me that I am to play a part in what’s to come. I couldn’t be more excited that He trusts me to share His great name to a city, that many consider ‘too far gone.’

At We Will Go, missionaries serve in all areas of ministry. My main area of focus is to serve as Pastor of the Fountain and with outreach to our local clubs. With that I am able to share in God’s heart for family, and invite others into that!

It’s an honor to serve Jesus in Jackson! I am praying that the Lord continues to open doors for us to minister throughout this city. I’d love for you to pray with us. If you’d like to stay up to date with what the Lord is doing as I serve at We Will Go, please feel free to connect with me!
