Our Story.

In 2003, David and Amy Lancaster wanted more out of their Christian lives. They saw there was great need in Jackson, MS. Their heart to see a better Jackson led them to take action and say “we will go.” They began to partner with others with the heart to be a neighbor to those in the community. We Will Go has continued to grow over the years with the help of volunteers, donors, churches, and partners. We Will Go now focuses efforts towards Education, Essential Food, and Engagement. This looks like distributing groceries to low-income families in our community, offering afterschool care with a focus on literacy, and providing all day summer learning for students in need. All programs are centered around evangelism and sharing the love of Christ with our neighbors. It’s amazing to see how one family’s initial actions have opened the door for so many people to come together to spark change in Jackson.

“Here I am Lord, send me.”
